TREES OF THE GREAT NORTHWEST
Standing next to and under these beauties is an awesome experience. We visited a grove of old growth trees in Mt. Rainier National Park. Some of these beings were 1000 years old!
This particular grove consisted of Douglas fir and Western Red cedar trees.
Even in death these gracious beings give back to the earth. Moss covered giants support new growth in the forest.
