THE GREAT GREEN
There is something primordial about being in a forest like this. Pictures don't really do it justice- there is so much more than the visual representation. The smell and sound of the forest tempts your senses- the variation of temperatures stimulates your skin.
Mist creeps in like a ghost and refreshes each path with glistening color.
Most often that color is green. The variety and layers of life are astounding.
Moss softens the landscape and provides a mosaic carpet on the forest floor.
Water is everywhere - shaping, nourishing and coloring.
But I digress...
