BACK IN TIME: TUCSON
We love hanging out in Tucson. Catalina State Park campground is in a mesquite grove at the base of Pusch Ridge in the Catalina Mountains. There are miles of paved bike trails within easy access, lots of hiking trails in the park and shopping malls & movie theaters just down the road.
We took the time to enjoy a few days of leisurely activities. (Getting up late, reading and catching up on some movies).
We always enjoy walking through the Saguaro forests of the Sonoran Desert.
We met up with friends Maxine and Paul for a jam session with Paul's music friends. I was a really fun night of (mostly) country music and bluesy rock. Special tributes to Merle Haggard were among the evening's highlights.

Before we left for Chicago we drove up Mt Lemon to catch some views of the valley below.
Tucson is always a pleasure to visit and of course we will be back.
